Our double dive in detail:
After arriving at the dive center, we will complete the necessary requirements (check the requirements on our FAQ of this site) for safe diving in Mallorca and the payment process (if not completed) at our reception desk.
Having finished the mandatory formalities, we assemble the equipment and suite up with the modern and high quality scuba equipment provided by MARES.
After a two minute walk you will board on SKUALO VI, a 8,50m long Zodiac speedboat powered by a YAMAHA 350 V8, heading to reach the first of this trips two dive sites. By the way, the Bay Of Pollença is providing us with more than twenty dive sites.
After your first dive, you will have a half an hour break on the surface, while the boat is slowly setting sails for heading to the second dive site. After having enjoyed the second dive of the trip, we are returning to the harbour of Bonaire.
After disassembling and washing your own/rental equipment at the dive center and logging you dives, the activity is finished.
Underwater you will enjoy a world full of steep walls, overhanging rocks, arches as well as small caves and caverns, fish swarms of the typical Mediterranean fauna.
Frequently asked Questions
What are the requirements to join a DoubleDive?
To join our Double Dive, you need to present the following documentation, printed or digital:
1. Your valid diving license (minimum level of SSI Open Water Diver or equivalent)
2. Diving Insurance covering decompression and other diving related accidents and injuries. Mandatory by law in Spain.
3. Medical certificate proving your physical ability to scuba dive.
4. With booking a activity you accept our General Terms and Conditions.
How much time do I have to plan for a Double Dive?
The Double Dive takes about 4-5 hours in total (from arrival at our shop till you leave). All our dives are limited to a maximum divetime of 60 minutes, but may be shorter depending on the dive site (no-decompression limits) and your air consumption.
Is it possible to go on a Double Dive without scuba diving experience?
If you don’t have any scuba diving experience (you are not a certified diver) please book either a Try Scuba Diving (Try Dive in the sea from shore) or a Basic Diver (two Try Dives in the sea one from shore and one from the boat).
I haven't been diving in a while, do I have to do a refresh?
If your last dive was within the last year you can join.*
If not please join our Single Dive (Please see requiremnets to join) or contact us for our SSI Scuba Skills Update Program.
*) Divers with a lot of experience might be excluded from this rule.
Are there activities for my non-diving family?
Your non-diving family can join as a boat passenger for 65,00 € wich includes rental equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, wet suit, and boots) as well as drinking water and a 2 piece pack of Quelitas.
Please note: If they’re not interested in doing some snorkeling during the two dives, we do not recommend to take them as passengers since they’ll spend the whole time on our speedboat, wich is designed to transport divers fast from the port to our dive sites, but not to spend a full morning on.
We may decline boat passengers on certain dive sites or trips.
